Melbourne’s Arrom draws on Aphir, KAIAR, Hypersleep & more for Take My Lymphs Remixes.
Melbourne producer and vocalist Arrom returns with a new remix package, featuring seven new versions of tracks from her debut album Take My Lymphs, from Aphir, KAIAR, Hypersleep, Ahm and Yet Variant. Take My Lymphs Remixes draws on the experimental pop, ethereal choral vocals and dark, organic electronics of the original full-length, and draws an arc that runs from abstract ambience directly to the dancefloor.
All of the contributors on Take My Lymphs Remixes were involved in the creation and release of the original album and include Provenance label mates Aphir and KAIAR. along with co-writer Ahm, experimental house producer Hypersleep, and Yet Variant, who plays synth and percussion in Arrom’s live band. In addition, Arrom delivers her own brooding re-work of the album’s opening track, Stardust. Says Arrom: “So much support and mediation goes into an album when you’re surrounded by such inspiring artists. I wanted to celebrate their input by making this special release.”
